The goal of the City’s Business website is to provide simple and intuitive electronic access to business services, serve as a public communications tool, enhance and promote Landrum and surrounding area business, and to streamline local business information.
The Landrum Business Station will be committed to creating wealth in Landrum and surrounding communities by providing key information on topics critical to the success of small business: Money, Markets, Management and Technology. The Landrum Business Station will supports the startup and growth of small and minority-owned businesses by enabling access to timely business information, online training and best practices, resulting in a more vibrant local business community.

Candidate John Lewis informs City Council that will be no cost to the city or Local business owners for the new web portal.

Ian McGregor mbe discusses his views on the planning applications for 2 wind farms in Berwickshire. Ian is a former Berwick Councillor and former Planning Committee Chairman. He is currenty receiving palliative (end of life)care and is unable to attend the planning meeting, despite his requests for us to wheel his hospital bed to the meeting. As an alternative Ian commissioned this video in an attempt to make the planners aware of his views in support of the planning application. Prior to publishing this clip on You Tube, the leaders of Berwick Council confirmed that his video would not be shown at the planning meeting. We hope they change their mind prior to the meeting.
