http://ThrowYourBoss.com/?t=y Small Business Loans for Women
Women owned businesses are increasing at a higher rate than ever. This can be attributed to a few different factors from narrowing gaps in education, more access to funding or the economy making people look at new career options.. Even though the economy may be at a standstill, there are lending sources out there actively trying to fund new Small Business Loans for Women. Owning your own business gives you true freedom and opportunity unmatched by working a 9 to 5 job.
The main reason people fail in Small Business Loans for Women is lack of funding. Being underfunded will lead to failure faster than any other factor. As a general rule you will need 6 months expenses in the bank and when estimated start-up costs, you should add 20% to your expenses.
This will allow room should anything not go as planned. Banks and other loan sources will want to see these expected expenses in your business plan.
Look for loans from various sources. Your bank is the first location to look although they are unlikely to fund a business unless your loan is backed by real estate or other assets. Family and friends are also a great source for loans. You can exchange equity in the business or offer a small interest return on the loan. When getting loans from family and friends, treat it professionally with contracts so both sides feel more comfortable.
There are other sources that specifically lend to women entrepreneurs. There is still a gap between the number of male owned and female and minority owned businesses. The groups and foundations that make these loans and grants seek to close this gap. This will help women obtain the amount that they need without stressing themselves out due to the somewhat tiresome loan procedure. If you are thinking of obtaining this type of loan, it is advisable for you to gain information about your loan choices online. Getting information about these types of loan can be made easier and faster through the internet. You just need to look for the best lender online and start your application. When seeking loans, many lenders will want to check your credit score.
Normally this can hurt your credit but if you make multiple inquires over a short period, it will count them all as one inquiry and not multiple. When you start looking, find as many sources as you can for you small business loan.
Both short and long-term Small Business Loans for Women area available. Loans for businesses that don’t involve real estate are on much shorter terms than mortgages. There is no rush to pay back loans in the beginning. Make sure you have enough cash flow after opening your business. Loans can also be made for new equipment and product purchases. If you are already open and in business it is often much easier to obtain additional funding and line of credits because your business is a tangible asset.
Small Business Loans for Women are really among the things that make the lives of women entrepreneurs easier. With these loans available, you are assured to obtain the kind of financial assistance that you need to open or grow your business.
